Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma – Lean and Six Sigma were initially developed by manufacturing organization to improve Quality, Cost and Delivery aspects of business. Lean Six Sigma follows a standard set of methodologies to achieve desired results. Following its huge success in manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma is now being widely accepted as proven methodology of continual improvement. Lean focuses on eliminating overall waste and increase process velocity. Six Sigma focuses on reducing variation, obtaining process stability, and improving process capability to reduce defects.

Lean Six Sigma or Lean Sigma is a hybrid of both the proven methodologies for accelerated business success. Lean Six Sigma first focus is to understand the compelling need for an organizational change. The change is clearly enumerated as burning platform KPIs and an implementation strategy is developed along with clear emphasize on stage wise goals.

Lean Six Sigma fails to deliver expected results, when companies view it as a training platform and don’t focus on building a necessary execution infrastructure for continual improvement. Focused stakeholder management and culture building are the clear differentiators for success in Lean Sigma.

PQLS LSS Practice: PQLS approach starts with a combined diagnostic audit done along with client’s design and deployment team to understanding our client’s value stream and do a value-waste analysis. We identify the potential scope areas for improvement through a cost-benefit analysis. Once obtaining project sign off from the top management, we quickly get in to people capacity and culture building initiatives. Our projects’ core focus is not on the improvement action plans but the methodology used to reach the action plans.

Our intensive Lean Six Sigma consulting methodology has resulted in substantial value add to our clients’ bottom line.
